Clean and grease the Idle Air Control Valve. It bolts to the throttle body. Remove the air intake box and ducts for easier access. Also, get some CRC brand (or similar) "Sensor Clean" and spray the Mass Air Flow sensor from both ends until it looks clean. Do not touch it! Just spray it. If your air cleaner is plugged dirty, the iacv might have a burned out magnet. You will need to find one at the wreckers. Also, clean the battery -ve cable where it bolts to the engine block. Clean both the end of the cable AND both sides of the bracket that it bolts to. Good luck. Keep reading and trying. Max's are great.
