Now that you know about the slightly shady world of service contracts- don't buy them- especially on a car that new- how much did it cost- if you bought the car from a dealer, go talk to them, nice at first, then more assertive- threaten to give the car back, cancel the check, cancel the Visa payment for misrepresentation and dubious sales practices- (and pushing these things is bad business practice)- maybe they will deal with you just to get rid of you- or, you can get rid of the car and get another one- there's only a zillion cars in the world-
