Brake light and battery light

Asked by Despicable Apr 13, 2023 at 02:23 AM about the 2012 Nissan Rogue SV AWD

Question type: General

Brake light and battery light comes on when I step on the
gas and the tachometer needle is at 15000 RPM but the
lights goes off when I release the gas pedal and the needle
drop below 15000 RPM

I checked the battery and it volt read 12.6V
And I checked the alternator and it also read 14.5V
I stepped on the gas for both and brake and battery light to
come on and tested the alternator it still read 14.5v

Any help to what am dealing with,the car drives fine there's
been no changes in it behavior

I think you mean 1500 rpm, not 15000. that sounds like a slipping drive belt, check the belt and all the idlers and tensioners. Now you could also have a computer problem as the charging system is computer controlled so it could be dropping out the amperage as the RPMs climb.

The belt is fine, it not loose or anything, I became so paranoid I use to check it every day when this issue started
