Does the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder have a timing belt or timing chain, how often to change?

Asked by dpadula Aug 06, 2014 at 10:47 AM about the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4WD have a timing belt or a timing chain?  I can't
find changing it in the maintenance recommendations.  If it has one, how often should it
be changed?

that 2010 pathfinder has a timming CHAIN , not belt.. and the chain always last alot longer than belts.. belts usually need replacement at 80k-110k miles ...chain can be 200k miles ,you would probably need to replace chain tensioner or guides..
