Is it just one vent or all vents? You may have a trap door stuck. Does the fan get louder as you increase the fan speed? Does this only happen on A/C or does it do it on heat and or vent only? The air volume is controlled by a fan at the dash, not the A/C. If the temp is cold, the A/C is fine. m It is vent issues or fan issues. Make sure there are no shorts in the wire leading to the fan motor and it has a good ground.
