Melting infiniti side mirrors

Asked by GAinifiniti Jan 15, 2018 at 05:39 PM about the 2012 INFINITI G37 Convertible RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2012 infiniti G37.  I love it. But recently I noticed that both side mirrors have signs of melting. The passenger side has actually bubbled a little. Infiniti claims not their fault. How can the sell cars that melt in GA. I keep the car garaged at home at at work. Any suggestions?

The infiniti G series are great cars. Take it to a body shop and see if they can recommend a fix for this. We owned a 2009 G37x sedan for over 5 years and never had any issues with the mirrors or anything else and I live in Kansas where it gets pretty darn hot in the summer.
