will a 6.0 L out of a 2012 Chevy 1500 a 2005 1500

You would need to change out the computer and wiring harness along with using the trany hooked up to the 6.0L.

I am going to install the 2012 6.0L in the 2005 and it all so has a 6.0 with a4L60 . I might need to change out the intake?

Possibly Not, does everything look the same? May just have to swap some parts from one to the other. Still you may have to either flash the computer, or just change it out, not sure, but Leary of the year difference. If everything would hook up with the wiring harness thats there, sensors mainly, possible just swap out the computer. I think you should be able to accomplish this one way or another..(the engine change)
