What could cause the speedometer, RPM gauge, and lights not to work?
All happened at same time and noticed when made a sharp left turn; all

From what I can find it looks like this may be an issue with several Chevy Silverado's, including the 2012. If you go to the link below you will see that the the warranty has been extended on some of these units to 7 years or 70,000 miles. If you have a local Chevy authorized dealer or mechanic I would give them a call and just ask about this to see if your Chevy qualifies and to see if this fault with the instrument panel's can be happening to your vehicle. For the link you need to delete the space between the - and the 443. CarGurus for some reason keeps adding a space there. I have a 2003, and at first the voltmeter quit, and then the temp gauge a while later. I looked it up and they have a problem with dash cluster. I bought one on line and it was real easy to install and everything started working and the dash lights ended up being brighter. You don't have to reset anything the computer does all that for you. Takes about 20 mins to replace. 4 screws and a little pull and it comes out and there is only one connector, just push the plastic clip and comes right apart. Like I said, it is a common problem. I bought mine for 134 dollars and well worth it.
