5.3 2012 engine

I have a 2009 Chevy Silverado lifter
collapsed so I bought another engine a 2012
supposed to fresh build put it in truck month
later oil pressure dropped done everything
oil pump pick up tube filter senor well pulled
engine last night took off oil pan I have
metal in bottom of oil pan metal in the
heads is my main and rod bearings gone if
so what can I do to fix this problem can't
afford another engine any invoice would be
grateful

if you have the pan off you can push on the connecting rods and try to wiggle them. if a bearing is destroyed you will feel quite a bit of play. you also likely would have heard a loud bang or slap from the connecting rod slapping the crank. other sources of metel debris could be piston rings, cam bearings, piston skirt. these engines are rather easy to rebuild with a manual and some tools owened or burrowed. I believe at this point this would be your best and least expensive option.
