2012 Chevy Suburban won't get off of phone volume

I have a 2012 Chevy Suburban.  It won't get off of phone volume.  Controls on steering wheel won't work.  Think it's something to do with bluetooth.  Everything else works but cannot play radio or get sound out of navigation.  DVD works and navigation works.  Was able to hit play off of steering wheel though.

Like most things these days works off signals in the air. Try turning off the phone or if you can remove battery for about 10 seconds then reconnect sometimes that works its like rebooting the system same thing they suggest you do it your cable acts weird.
