2003 Dodge R/T 5.9 AWD - Turns over but wont crank over

It began frequently about a year ago. It is behaving as if the fuel pump is bad or the timing or timing belt is also not working properly. Any suggestions on how I can try an narrow this or what to try to get it started would be greatly appreciated.

My apologies - the initial description of the problem did not show up on the question. The problem it cranks over but will not start.
