You can hear the car driving as if it's driving on gravel road not asphalt. No siund insulating the interior cabin from the road driving noise and as if the car has noe suspension to dampen the drive Mechanics nitrd the tires and tire pressure are fine the original suspension system and struts are also fine! Still the car driving experience is noisy and the niise level inside the cabin is high! Don't know what makes the Toyota quit but the honda pilot noisy ?
I had the same problem. Put on a new set of Michlen defender tires and my Pilot is very quiet now.. It's like a miracle how quiet it is now. Good luck..Woody
I had a similar noise. Sounded like I was driving on studded snow tires. Defenatly related to road speed. If I put the truck in neutral on a down hill andlet the engine idle, the noise was unchanged so I knew it wasn’t motor mounts or the cylinder management system. I checked the wheel bearings, no play, no growl when jacked up. However, when swerving the truck left to right on a coast down hill there was a slight change in the noise. I diagnosed it was the right side front wheel bearing making the noise. You couldn’t tell it was bad when it wasn’t under load. Got a free loan of a slide hammer, wheel hub sockets and torque wrench from “Auto Zone” (thank you Auto Zone, this is an awesome program). Ordered the Timkin replacement part from Amazon and fixed it myself in about 2.5 hours. So happy to be rid of that constant worrisome drone.
