Yes you can buy a car out of state and bring it back to your state. You will have to register it and pay sales tax when you get it home. NEVER buy a vehicle without going and looking at it in person first. Once you've looked at it a bought it you can hire a transport company to deliver it home.
If by any chance you live in Calif make sure is has either the 50 State or Calif emissions package, or you won't be able to register it
