Brake light issues

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My brake light started coming on intermittently. I
had brakes checked and at first they said read
brake cylinder. I thought that too. Second time they
said no it's not really leaking. My fluid levels have
been fine too. We unhooked the brake fluid sensor
hoping that it was dead and the beeping and light
would stop but no. I'm now thinking it's the parking
brake sensor since it only comes on a second or
so after I let off the gas. The parking brake handle
is totally released and I wiggle it and press down..
that does nothing. Opinions?

Even though it comes on and off when I let off the gas but aren't touching the brake pedal?
