new/used car need help

so im getting a 2003 dodge neon soon and i want
to know if i could bulk up the speed a little its got a
2.4L engine in it and it seems a little small for my
tastes is there any way i can beef it up a bit make it
faster and stronger i dont know alot about cars or
engines thats why im asking

I wouldn't recommend it. Those motors aren't built for getting power out of. They are built for fuel efficiency and longevity, so if you start tampering with it you're going to have more issues than it's worth.
