Getting a disk read error whenever I start the Odyssey.  Don't really care to
use the NAV since it's a 2007 but I would like to be able to set the clock and
access the other features without that stupid message monopolizing the
screen.  It shows the disk read error for a few seconds and then the screen
shuts off completely.  I can't set the clock because it won't let me past that
screen.

Unplug it nothing to lose! can't become more glitched than it is..might be work to get the connector.
