when my eeo light comes on to say im conserving gas a rough sound starts that I never heard before.some
people are telling me its the transmission. could it be any thing else that would make this occur?

Can't tell you this is really the answer. We have a 2005 Odessey and we noticed that when running on ECO and started to need more power switching to normal power mode we would have a rough sound. After months we bgan using oil at an alarming rate. Short version .. found out our van does have a PCV but I had never changed it. Changed the PCV and the oil comnsumption problem went away and so did the rough sound when switching In and Out of ECO mode.. Hope it helps.
