If you're looking for the dome light controls, it's right next to the headlight switch and also controls the brightness of the dashboard gauges and clock(if you have a more basic radio) when the headlights are on.

I am having a similar problem and see no answers yet. Theee doors turn the dome light in and off when you open and close them, but not my driver side door. Is there a switch in the frame or door? 2010 Jeep Patriot. Also this is the hardest year to find things about, all those before and after no problem!
