What else can it be?

Asked by beachbuckeye Aug 06, 2015 at 03:15 PM about the 2003 Dodge Stratus R/T Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 Dodge Status R/T 3.0 Coupe automatic.  New tires, alignment, balance, struts.....105000 miles.  The steering wheel shakes at 70 mph on up.  Fine till I hit 70 and then the intense shimmy.  New balance job, alignment, struts.  What else could it be?

Check the tie rods. Move back and forth for wear. When these go bad, you can have this type of issue.

Bring it back to the mechanic, you already paid for the job. They should find it and only charge you for the broken part they shoul've noticed
