what other engine can i use to replace my 2.0 sohc for my 2000 focus

Depends, you can put in a 2.0L DOHC will need the wiring harness and the pcm though. Or if your lucky find a SVT engine. For some reason the SOHC is much more expensive to replace than the DOHC.
