Question type: Maintenance & Repair

how do I know if I have a bad tire pressure monitor ?

If you check and set your tire pressure as per the decal on the inside of the drivers door. Reset tire pressure monitor and test drive it over 20 mph. If the light comes on you may have a bad TPMS (sensor). If you have a flat tire or set one tire 10 psi different and test drive it and the light doesn't come on... bad sensor and or monitor.
