ac compressor not working

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

had system charged,replaced fan control module. Had all electric power
checked. V.I.P.(Does fan come on before compressor will activate or does
compressor have to be working for fans to come on???Getting different
answers by 2 mechanics.Can't afford to pay for opinions getting no results.
