Asked by Guru9FBH7P Nov 29, 2022 at 04:29 PM about the 2012 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

All gauges are normal, but radiator fan idles up to high for no reason. What
could cause this? It just started doing this.

Is the heater controls set to defrost the windshield? In this position it also runs the AC compressor so it turns on the radiator fans. Check for proper coolant levels. If still stumped you my need to have a shop run a live data scan on the computer system, they would be looking for any misreads on sensors.
