towing a u haul trailer md to denver col

What's your question??? Depends on the weight of the trailer?? Do you know what it is?? AND, what else are you carrying in the car..?
Most if not all U-Haul trailers are too heavy for your car especially loaded. Don't blow up the CVT in your car!
F_O_R-. I saw this on the open road, probably OK for the Subaru... It's only 1,500 fully loaded and the car can tow up to 2,700 pounds. https://www.uhaul.com/Trailers/Sport-Trailer-Rental/ST/

If you need to move a lot of stuff you may want to rent a truck and tow your car on a trailer.
Yes, I agree....or better yet, have someone drive the car and follow or lead....

Aside from mass the most important criterion is the tongue weight. Keep it low and you'll be ok. Don't be aggressive climbing hills, as you don't want to overheat the CVT fluid. Keep tire pressures at 35 F&R. Have a safe trip!
