Is this car a good buy?

Asked by Tratrz Oct 03, 2020 at 09:09 PM about the 2012 Subaru Outback 2.5i

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Looking into a 2012 Subaru Outback 2.5i with
164,000 miles on it . Great car fax report with
a lot of good service records, 41 services but
all routine maintenance and general wear and
tear. One owner, $6616, good buy? Nice clean
car.

If it has a CVT I would not buy it. A new CVT could cost 7 or 8 grand. You could try to find a used one if it goes out but I would buy something with lower miles.
