Reliability of 2012 Subaru Legacy 3.6R Premium

Asked by bryan2639 Sep 04, 2018 at 04:32 PM about the 2012 Subaru Legacy 3.6R Premium AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Considering purchasing a 2012 3.6r premium legacy with 75k miles. Was
wondering about the issues that the car holds and about how much it would be
worth. Dealer is listing for 12k.

If it has a CVT the transmission may be a very expensive fix in the future. Some 3.6 engine are oil burners. Offer less!

I believe the transmission is the 5-speed automatic and the engine is the H6 EZ36. Would that change anything?
