why does my car keep overheating?

Blown head gaskets.

Could be an air pocket , these " shops " should know how to trouble shoot such things without doing unnecessary repairs , sounds like the money you spend there is what they're concerned about .

GA how can i know for certain is a blown head gaskets?

Sounds logical. A simple block check will tell them.

GA what do you mean a block check? how is that done?

A tool you can buy at any parts store, just follow the directions and then you will know if the headgaskets are blown. Or you favorite shop can do it for you.

quick update guys my check engine light came on and it said it was a engine coolant sensor i changed one of the two and it took longer to over heat but what i noticed was my windshield started to fog up on the right side only when it started to overheat what can this mean?

Couple of things, a plugged up AC drain tube, a leaking heater core. Did you smell anything like a sickly sweet smell?

didn't noticed..my rugs aren't wet there's no leaks inside or outside..what does the AC drain tube has to do with overheating or is that a separate problem?

Separate problem.

A little note about blown head gaskets, it makes too much pressure in the cooling system and can blow things radiators, coolant recovery tanks, heater cores, water pump seals, heater hoses. Anything that has even the slightest weakness will let go.
