Still looking for something better, but that will show you id you have the 1.8. I know in 2012 it might have 2.4
I am having a heck of a time finding images for 2.4 -2AZ FE. But should be similar or same. Will always have a relatively big hose, like ½" ID, and go from intake to most often valve cover
Thank you very much for your help, everything is ok now.
Sorry,I change the hose and it seems to be ok,but now the light check engine and trac off come out again,so I'm going to change the fuel pressure regulator, but I don't know where it is located, can you tell me where it is? Please, thanks,my car is a Toyota corolla S,1.8, 2012,and the code is PO 171.
Also,I like to know if it is good to put synthetic oil in my car or not and what filter is good for this Toyota corolla S 2012
Your 2012 strictly demands ONLY synthetic 0W20. I use Mobil1 filter and @ 7500 miles my oil was a clear amber as the day it was put in. Before that I used Fram and the oil was turning dark well before 5000 miles.

It's inside tank Remove the back seat bottom and access plate it's mounted on fuel pump bracket, you don't have to pull pump
I scaled this as big as possible, it loses focus. But you might want to test fuel pressure before getting in to replacing the regulator. There is a test port on fuel rail
The regulator is $120 is why I say that above, not to mention your time and trouble, and you can't return it. One more thing. Ignore the Trac or VCS lights. Toyota and Lexus are notorious for those to light up when any code is thrown and there is nothing wrong with them *********************************************************************************** Now, if you really are interested in reading up on oil filters check these out: http://www.austincc.edu/wkibbe/oilfilterstudy.htm *** and http://www.evolutionm.net/forums/evo-engine-turbo-drivetrain/637158-official-oil-filter-testing-results-thread-4g63t-4b11t.html
