Crank no start

Asked by Guru16S96 Sep 25, 2019 at 11:07 PM about the 2002 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm thinking that my Durango came with a stock
anti-theft and pcm is programed to one. After a
transfer case replacement, I tried to crank and now
nothing. Brand New battery, new CPS, MAP,
RADIATOR, ALL NEW FLUIDS, NEW NSS, 2 NEW
IGNITION SWITCHES, NEW HEADLIGHT/DIMMER
SWITCH, CLEANED ALL GROUND CONNECTIONS,
CHECKED ALL PLUGS FOR CORROSION, ALL
RELAYS /FUSES ARE GOOD, NO BROKEN WIRES,
5.8V ON 5 VOLT CIRCUIT, I NOTICES NO
IMMOBILIZER BOX UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL,
and no horns. THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW LOCK,
ELECTRIC MIRROR CONTROL MODULE ONLY
ROLLS ALL OTHER WINDOWS UP N DOWN BUT
NOT UP ON DRIVERS SIDE. when I turn my
headlights to the on position it cuts all battery
voltage as if the battery is dead, but is certainly not
accordingly to the VOLTMETER. tests at 12.58v. NO
FUEL PUMP SOUND, AND WHEN TESTING MY
GROUNDS WITH LIGHT TESTER I SEE AND HEAR
PULSATING. I ACTUALLY HEAR A SOUND LIKE AN
RF frequency. I really don't know. And if I apply my
light tester to the lbl/pk wire that goes to the fan, it
comes on. Not any other time though. I GOT
PROBLEMS!!!!  But mabye one little one. I've been
studying on all of this for over a year and a half,
and am starting to understand this bus circuit a
little more here lately, but am still not able to drive
my Durango. It is a 2002 Durango SLT AWD,   5.9L
MAGNUM, IT RUNS AND LOOKS LIKE A BRAND
NEW ONE AND I AM ALSO A SINGLE MOMMA OF
7 CHILDREN THAT REALLY STILL NEEDS THIS TO
RUN AND GO DOWN THE ROAD!! I'VE PAID FOR
INSURANCE AND KEPT MY PLATES UP TO DATE
IN THE EVENT I FIGURE IT OUT, BUT STILL JUST
NOT GETTING IT!!!  WILL SOMEONE HELP ME?  We
miss our truck!!! ‍‍‍‍‍‍

I will take a look at them in the morning. I did change the quality of the pos. side of my battery to a thicker new wire. That one goes down to starter, then another pos. wire to the PDC. Should any of the battery cables be going to the alternator? I'm sure I should already know this but haven't really looked into the simplest things. My luck has always took me the long way home lol... and yet in the end found that the answer to my problem was right before my eyes all along.
