Backup lights very dim

My 03 P71 backup lights have become so dim, they can't be seen day or night. They worked fine until about a week ago. Also, the left high beam doesn't work, so I replaced both bulbs, and it still doesn't work but the low beams are fine. Is this a wiring issue?
