2013 mustang where is the fuel filter

Under the car in front of the fuel tank. You will need a special tool to separate the fuel line so the filter can be replaced. There can be purchased at any auto parts store. Usually for under $10.
There's a plastic panel under the drivers side door. Remove it and the filter is under there. There us no special tool for removal on the s197 platform mustang. All you need is a 10mm socket to remove the panel and the strap. Push the green button on the lines and pull the line carefully as they are hard plastic lines and they get brittle over time
Just found out that models newer than 2011 don't have an inline filter. The autopart stores catalogues are wrong. They have a listing for the part but apparently someone dropped the ball on updating for the changes
I look up the 2013~2014 repair manual only to find nothing in there except for 5.8L engines(not the 3.7 or 5.0). Where is it?? is there any?

Called Ford 2011 up has only the inside gas tank fuel filters built on the fuel pump
2013 mustang 3.7L V6. Removed that panel from underneath the driver's side at the rail and no inline filter. Another person said it almost directly over the differential. Strike two. I have to believe it's in the tank and combined with the pump etc. So much for all the online parts houses and retail auto parts stores. They all are happy to sell you a filter but no need to buy it. It's just not there. That surprises me though because i would think Ford would have installed an inline fuel filter. They know Mustang people are big on all things preventive maintenance. I know i am. If I'm wrong about this please tell me where else to look!
