Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was told during a recall repair for my 2013 V6 Mustang
that I have a leak coming from my front engine cover? Is
that another name for timing cover? I attached a photo

Cam cover is the correct term also referred to as a valve cover. Timing cover would be the correct term for the front of the engine cover.

Was it leaking before you took it in for recall repair? I had same thing happen when I took Corolla in for airbag recall repair. When I returned to pick up car, I was advised that my Timing chain cover was leaking. Up to that time I had no leaks in garage where this car is always parked. After returning home and before I parked the car in garage, I inspected the floor for signs of oil leakage and thee was none so pulled the car into garage. Very next day I pulled car out and looked for signs of oil leakage and did find splatters on the floor. very interesting It's like the dealer loosened up some bolts or something.
