2013 Ford Escape 4 WHEEL DRIVE Icon

I turned my car on this afternoon after
work and once I turned it on,  the "4-
wheel drive off" icon popped up for a few
seconds and then went off. Never seen
that before should I be concerned? What
does that mean?

Four-wheel-drive comes up temporarily out of service what is wrong with this 2013 Ford escape
