How can u tell if u have a bad turn signal switch or a bad rely flasher

If the signal switch is bad, it wont flash at all. If the relay is bad it would be doing something crazy like blinking the lights very dim and the usual clicking you hear would sound different. If it works but is blinking quickly you have a bad turn signal bulb, easy fix.

if your flasher canister is bad your flasher will come on and not flash, if the switch is bad nothing will come on at all
