Ac/ heat 2013 fors edge

My 2013 ford edge will not switch back from heat to ac.
Had same problem beginning of winter to get ac to switch
to heat but it resolved itself.

I had similar problems in my Ford Expedition and it turned out to be a blend door actuator controls the climate you got to be careful cuz there's probably about four different blend door actuators in your car so you have to find the one that controls climate and then make sure to pull it out and look at the part number on it before ordering another one so you don't get the wrong one when ordering a new one and they generally generally range from 20 to 40 bucks
