2013 ford edge heat only blows cold air

Asked by Guru9HYJ16 Nov 01, 2021 at 11:06 AM about the 2013 Ford Edge SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Heater only blowing cold air.  Have already checked/tested thermostat and
heater control valve.  Both seem to be operating normally.  Have also flushed
heater core, with no obstructions.  Have also tried (from inside car) the
power/defrost buttons to reset the heater, but this didn't work either.  Looking for
other suggestions before I take to a mechanic for diagnosis.

Check the heater hoses, both should be hot. If they are, it's the mode-blend door. If they are not, water isn't getting through the core.
