In my personal opinion, having owned a medium gray color sedan (Volvo) with dark cloth interior....There was no real difference in terms of interior temperatures compared to a white car/truck. Black exterior is REALLY the color that draws in the heat (rather than reflecting it) and I notice that with my current Jet Black SUV. I guess anyone else who responds to this will tell you that lighter colors always do a better job at reflecting the sunlight/heat compared to darker colors, I just don't think gray is a deal-breaker in this regard though. BTW...Is Sterling Gray a light or darker gray color?? Got a pic??

Never mind..saw a pic of the Sterling Gray..sort of a medium metallic looking gray, similar to the one on my '06 Volvo S40. I really wouldn't be overly concerned about the heat with this color. But again, this is just my opinion and I don't live in the Midwest, so If you have more of a comfort level with White, get that instead. Bonus with White is that it doesn't look as dirty as often as darker colors. Pic of the Sterling Gray below, for other Gurus to see:

Morning, David....Just call me Quick Draw McGraw from the East Coast! This will be my last post till later this afternoon or evening though. Any thoughts on the Sterling Gray vs. White? Not familiar at all with how hot the summers are in the Midwest (you probably don't either living on the West Coast)...Any Midwest Gurus out there..lol!

I live at 5000+ feet elevation, but it does get hot, relatively speaking. In the mid 90's and I chose white intentionally for that very reason. My niece has a Black Mercedes and it will get HOT with windows up parked in sun, mine not so much. Unscientific comparison and proves nothing, but true
