2013 EXPLORER 4WD SHUDDERS ON ACCELERATION AND RIGHT TURNS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hit a curb and bent wheel. Had new tires, bearing and arm? installed. Moved
bent wheel from left front to right rear because of vibration while driving.  A
shudder began in right rear where bent wheel was moved. Replaced bent
wheel. Now I have a distinct shudder when I accelerate from a stop and
especially when turning right. Any thoughts?

The bent rim was obviously the cause of the problem. Besides being out of round/square it could have been unbalanced. The condition could have damaged the wheel bearing/hub assembly.

I replaced the bent wheel and had the new wheel balanced. However something is still causing it to vibrate. What else should I check?

The damaged wheel could be out of round or damaged to the point it is beyond repair. Replace the wheel with the spare and go for a short ride. If the shudder disappears, discard the rim and purchase a new one.

Sorry, misread your post. Have the suspension on the impact side checked by an alignment shop. If the vehicle is a front wheel drive, you could have damaged components of the drive train on that side.
