Yes I have a 2002 Dodge Neon which I just
did a motor swap put a 2005 2.0 in it and it
ran perfectly before I put it in now I have it in
and you try starting up it cranks over and
pops and jerks if you getting gas it's getting
spark the engine ran perfect before I put it in

Are you check the timing on a car like this I know how to do it with a timing light on cars with the distributor have not check the timing on a car without a distributor

Well the car that I took the motor out of with your 2005 and put it in 2002 the 2005 had a brain that has four plugs running into it from the front wiring harness got to put the motor in is a 2002 and the Brain only has two wiring plugs that run from the wiring harness into the brain what do I do and I'm sorry about some of the spelling I'm using speak text sometimes it doesn't say what I'm saying

The engines are exactly the same the only difference is the sensors are in a couple of different spots than the other motor but the exact same so how can the computer have anything to do with swapping a motor
