Hyundai won't turn on getting no power?

Check battery connections real good. You should have lights if connected correctly.

1) Make sure RED cable goes to the (+) on the battery and the BLACK cable goes to the (-) on the battery... black cable should be connected to the body of the car... 2) Also check fuses, like MAIN FUSE and like Jay said, triple check cables and connections... 3) Once you get power and key fob still doesnt work, just replace the fob battery with a CR2032 4) Id also test the battery you just got, what if it was bad to start with... or maybe it's not charged...

your key blade is inserted in your fob, press button and pull blade out... if you dont have the blade at all, you can buy one for a few bucks on ebay and have locksmith or dealer cut it for you...

the issue is that the battery is not connected properly. Push the RED + side down.

If the battery is disconnected for an extended amount of time the key faub may need to be reprogrammed to the car. Call Hyundai and ask if you dont have the manual to reference. They are very helpful with any issue that comes up. Try shifting in and out of park a few times after checking cables and fuses too. Did you plug faub in the arm rest area as instructed when battery dies?

2010 gensis coupe driveshaft is bad, replacement OEM is 1900 dollars.is there anyone that make a one piece replacement shaft

if fob battery os ok if car batery os ok connection are ok if fuses are not an issue break pedal swith to be considered

I had an issue today with my 2011 Genesis. I got up this morning and went about my business. Drove the car around town, with more than one stop. I came out from my last errand and the car was dead. Nothing. The interior lights wouldn't work, the car wouldn't try to start or even turn on for the radio and lights to work. I read a number of forums with no luck. I checked fuses under the hood. I couldn't find anything wrong. The car was acting like there was no battery connected. I couldn't get the electronic trunk release to work. I reasoned that possibly the battery cable had worked it way loose or broken some how. I was able to use my key and open the trunk (that was a chore- to the best of my knowledge the key trunk release has never been used in the car). I finally got the trunk open. The battery was firmly connected. I pulled the 50amp fuse and all the interior lights came on. I put the original fuse back in and the lights stayed on. I tried to start the car and the vehicle went back to its previous dead state. I went back to the battery, pulled the fuse, again the lights came on, I rotated the fuse 180 degrees put it back in and tried again. The care stared and I drove it home. I plan to buy a new 50amp fuse and replace that one. I don't know why it worked but, it did. Maybe a hard reset for the car? Something to try if it happens to you.

Had the same problem on 13 genesis sedan. battery good alternator good. But when I drive somewhere cut it off only for short time, come back to start and dead as though someone stole the battery out of the car. paid 40 for a tow got back to my lot and boom started right up and battery voltage was 14.4 running. very confusing.

I am having the same issue. Intermittently, I lose all power, have to use physical key and insert fob into dash to start. No screen, radio, back up camera, etc. Then it comes back spontaneously, sometimes while driving, other times after car has sat for a while. Sometimes I park it while it's working, come back later, still working but systems have reset. So it lost power, then regained it just while sitting, with the trip counter, temp units changed, clock reset to 1:00, rear sunscreen up, climate on auto.

2016 Genesis coupe with the same problem. The car acts as if the isn't a battery connected. New battery in keyfob and also inserted into key fob slot just in case. No lights or door chimes and windows won't even budge to properly open the door. I go to give it a jump only for it to jump itself???? As soon as I touched the positive terminal with the jumper cables that aren't connected to another power source yet, it automatically got power as if there was a short. I start it up (still not connected to my other car's battery and everything is fine but all electrical has been reset. (I remove the jumper cables) I turn the car off and on twice to test it out and boom dead once again. I go back to reconnect the cables and once again without any other power source, it starts up again without a problem. With the dealership backed up 3-4 weeks I don't know wats next.

was having similar problem found that the positive battery connector was loose and wouldn't tighten, even though I thought it was tight when I turn the bolt it wasn't (became defective an wouldn't tighten) the block is held tight by a frame bolt I decided to take the bracket off from the from the frame that's when it revealed it was loose so I use some aluminum foil to get a better connection and hasn't had the problem since and I ordered the part online for $90 an it comes just as you see it on your car.
