What is the overall maintanance review of the Dodge Stratus?

Depends on the model...the V6 is okay, but the 2.4L 4cyl has only 3 less Hp but is better on fuel and has a higher reliability rating on the drive train.

I wouldn't buy it, the 2.4L L4 motor has alot more going for it then the 2.7 V6. The 2.7 V6 has had TONS UPON TONS of Sludge problems, not to mention head gaskets and so on. (Chrysler Still Puts this motor in alot of there new vehicles; Charger, 300, Sebring, Avenger) and yet they all still continue to have the same problems. I see there things on a daily bases, and I feel for the customer they second they come in the door.

not gonna lie to ya, used to work in a dodge jeep and chrysler dealership.. 2.4 and 2.7 engines are terrible.. all techs hate working with them, and they are in the shop every other month thanks for playing
