Interior Lights

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The interior lights (courtisy lights) on my 2001 Dodge Caravan are suposed to fade off after entering or exiting the car but they have started to just go out after just a few seconds.
They started to work for a short time but then started acting up again.
Anyone have a clue whats causing this?
Thanks, BSD0168

Try adjusting the setting of your dimmer switch, either on or next to the headlight switch. You've probably already thought of this, but I had the same problem, and spent a couple of weeks troubleshooting, then one day I went "Duhhhhhhhh!!!" why didn't I think of that to start with? It was just too simple, and I had a brainfart.

I took all of the bulbs out and turned the dimmer switch off and had all the doors shut so there was no reason for the lights to be on and as soon as I put the fuse in it blew
