head light trouble

when we start the van the driving light comes on on the drivers side then when we put the head lights on low beam the passenger side comes on and the driver side goes out then when we put the high beams on the passenger side goes out if some one could tell me how to fix them thank you

You are losing the ground to the lights. Check all the grounds under the hood especially around the lights.
