the rims are 5 x 114.3, I hope I can but I want to  know its safe, it's for my wifes car

I recommend staying with the tire size that your drivers door plate states. But that being said you should be ok running the 60 tire. They are not quite as wide as the 55 and might be just a little taller but should work and feel just the same as the 55.

yes you can. 205 is the width, the 60s will just be a tad raller - exactly what we are running on my daughter's GT

I want to put some rims like 5x100 205 45 r17 would that fit on my Hyundai Elantra 2013 or how Do u guys think is better
