dome on front of dash

there is a little dome/nodule thing on the dash up
by the windshield. i just bought this car used and
I'm just curious what it is.

rain sensor most likely. your owner's manual should say what it is.

i did look in the manual but didn't find it. but i didn't get a manual i had to look online and i don't have that much patience so i could have missed it. but thank you for the answers.
