Bad alternator or battery?

Asked by Guru9FDMS Jul 21, 2017 at 10:15 PM about the 2013 Dodge Dart SE FWD

Question type: Car Customization

My car only has 28,000 miles on it and today the car
wouldn't start but my lights would flicker and the gauges
would move up and down... tried jumping the batter
started and ran for literally 10 feet then cut off... jumped
again and made it to advanced but it cut off two times on
the way. Advanced didn't know anything except that it
could possibly be the alternator... I've read online that
most of the time those don't go bad until the car has high
Miles which mine doesn't

1 Answer

I suspect the battery is dead due to the alternator not charging. Have both tested.
