Car pick up

My car is not properly picking up. To
speedup i have to pedal hard.
Malfunction light is glowing.

The malfunction code needs to be read. This can be done at most auto parts stores for free. The codes will point to the general direction of the problem. If your Spark is still under drive train warranty it would be best to take it to a Chevrolet dealership for repair.
