Cooling fans not on, 2013 Malibu

So I my vehicle I keep up with regular and timely
maintenance. And just today I noticed that my cars
cooling fans don't turn on at all when I was filling
up on antifreeze. Which I thought was weird and it
wasn't something that I check on too often. If
someone could clear up my confusion as far as I
know the cooling fans should be on as soon as I
start my car correct?

I think they start running once the car heats up. Have you ran the car long enough to get hot, and see if they kick on? check any of the fuses?

When the thermostat opens and the water from the engine goes into the radiator the cooling fan comes on to cool down water that in the radiator from engine
