When I ask for 2013 cars, why do 2012 models show up in the search ?

Probably because you can still buy a new vehicle from the model year before. For example, I bought my truck in 2017 brand new, but it was a 2016.

Just use the pull down menu to sort the cars by newest. The 2012's will be at the bottom of the list and the 2013's will be at the top.
