yeah, but it will be the electronic engine controls that git ya- that is a fairly new car, instead of butchering it up why not just buy and M5? just askin'
Thank you. My M5 overturned. Basically it just faced upwards and was written off. Insurance paid. Offered it back to me for a pittance. So, I am not butchering the M5. The price was R 15 000. Thats around $ 1100, give or take. Everything is still fine. The engine has done 10 000 km. I am thinking of rebuilding another M5 with its engine and other parts that survived. I can buy the rest of the parts that didnt survive. There is no rush since I have already received another car. Thank you
I guess it can be done, anything is possible, but you are talking about a high performance car- even if you can put one together, and get it to run, I would not want to be a passenger in that frankenstein at 150 MPH- maybe you have the skill to do this idk- but if you did why ask us here? Why not just sell the car on craigslist or sell the engine on EBay? Someone with an M5 might need one and it must be worth a good handfull of silver-
I'd want a car with the same power as a 458 to be built at Munich BMW not in some lock up garage.
